Possible freeze a small box-bottle of Pinot Grigio and it’s good to drink in a day or two.

Pinot Grigio has medium body and acidity, can sometimes taste like slightly acidic water.

Both the cab & pinot grigio are decent- and I have hated every other boxed wine I’ve tried.

It's like giving up Sauvignon Blanc but drinking Pinot Grigio everyday.

It's important to note that the CMS only includes traditionally produced wines in the blind tasting - no curveballs (pinot grigio grown in Alaska or whatever).

I wouldn't consider myself a wine snob, but I'm not really looking forward to being served a nice Pinot Grigio from Trentino (DOC) with cubes of frozen Liebfraumilch.

I know pretty much nothing about wine and I could tell you the difference between a couple white wines because some are noticeably sweet (moscato, riesling) compared to others (sauvignon blanc, pinot grigio).

Trader Joes has always had the three buck chuck (née two buck chuck) which I consider barely drinkable but now they've got an Italian Pinot Grigio for $3.50 [1] which has been surprisingly good and hasn't run out of stock despite being very popular.

My parents like dryer and sharper white wines anyways (Pinot Grigio, Riesling, etc.) so it doesn't bother them.

And yes generally people into Pinot Grigio, even the best ones, could use a push.

I think once more people tried Pinot (Noir or Grigio), they just stuck with it because it is good.
