What those companies have in common with Google is that they have fingers in a great many pies.

My next door neighbor lost 4 of his fingers in a table saw accident.

However, holding hands incessantly and crossing fingers and stuff is frowned upon and could raise some eyebrows or suspicion in people around you.

Each of those fingers will have serious competition but for some company to compete on all fronts with Google at the same time is very unlikely and most definitely won't lead to a win.
