SF's Embarcadero fell down in an earthquake and they wisely didn't rebuild it, which then created a desirable waterfront.

Later on in 2008 Embarcadero Technologies picked up Delphi and has been selling it ever since.

For example development along the Embarcadero has been banned by ballot measure.

The only draw back is that a ride to/from say, the Embarcadero can be fairly long at times, sometimes approaching 45 mins off peak.

After embarcadero took over, delphi releases actually improved the core again.

I don't know, the embarcadero freeway is proof that these sorts of projects can happen.

I saw it yesterday at the Embarcadero Center Cinema and it's going to be there for at least the upcoming week.

Of course the FiDi is accessible by Caltrain-just get off at Momtgomery or Embarcadero.

The current producer of Borland's Delphi, Embarcadero, sell the product for a minimum of $1000 plus a subscription is now required to get ANY bug fixes at all!
