In fact, this initiative is laughed at by most people here (in QC) as it is mostly exactly the same thing that "La toile du Québec" was 20 years ago.

Of course that was a euphemism originally (indirectly from French "toile"), but I think it's the closest we have to a neutral term at the moment.
