I argue we want to use Ortiz the way they wanted to use Aaron.

The one for Carmen Ortiz looks to be the same.

The legal system that enabled Ortiz to present the charges as she did is much bigger than any prosecutorial overreach she is accused of in that petition.

It doesn't really matter; Aaron is still dead, Carmen Ortiz still has her job (although hopefully her political career has topped out) and we carry on.

I'm just not convinced Ortiz is not to blame.

I'd draw the distinction that Ortiz's and Darl McBride's actions actively oppose the thing that the conference is about: technology and innovation.

There would be so much outrage if vindictive prosecutors (like Carmen Ortiz) or patent trolls would get to speak at Strange Loop.

Ortiz is not just some innocent victim who was blindly following the law.
