I really wish Google would make all G+ feeds into RSS feeds, and add the ability to subscribe to any RSS feeds in the G+ stream/circles.

Recall that the way Usenet works is that each site gets its new feeds from one or more other sites.

Make it a new service; you get paid for drinking from the firehose, and you pay to get human-filtered feeds.

That might not sound like much but liquid feeds are not new; there are plenty of people that have experience in liquid feeds; so there's not much excuse to make the mistakes Soylent made.

Lots of people buy and install home weather systems, and hook up their data feeds to Weather Underground (or what have you).

The point of a patent is to protect your idea from being sabotaged by others so the money goes into your account hopefully and feeds your family and pays for your kids education, etc.

I played around with Jekyll a bit and while it's cool, there were a few things I didn't like, such as the fact that you're limited to one "posts" feed, rather than being able to easily publish arbitrary content and have multiple feeds.
