In Theravada Buddhism becoming an Arhat is the gaining of wisdom / loss of ignorance into dependent arising of suffering.

Also, Arhat is usually achieved while reading suttas, and Once Returner often is achieved when socializing.

Yes, an Arhat does not get angry, that's in the very definition of the term: ill will has been totally eliminated.
