Aarhus/Århus for example can be spelled either way; even the municipal government has switched back and forth about which one it recommends (it switched to Århus in 1948, and back to Aarhus in 2011).

However, and I might be somewhat wrong, but I've seen more people beginning to crowd around either Odense, Aarhus or Aalborg the last few years.

There was some discussion about officially reforming the names of cities to use the new 'å' spellings, but both Aarhus and Aalborg (the 2nd- and 3rd-largest cities) strongly objected.

I remember reading somewhere that Google opened the Aarhus office mostly because he didn't want to move to Mountain View (I might be misremembering so don't quote me on that).

If I remember correctly, one of the reasons Google chose to have the V8 JavaScript engine developed in Aarhus was the fact that the CS department there is really good.

I'm not happy with anyone "sidelined", including Aarhus people, even if self-sidelined by too much funding, loathing of JS, and desire to work from a cleaner slate.

In spring 2014, Kringelbach and colleagues from Oxford and Aarhus released a research paper on groove –music that makes people want to get up and dance and is, as the study puts it, “frequently observed in…funk, hip-hop and electronic dance music”.

:-) There are a bunch of local hackathon events, like "Hack Aarhus" etc., but in my opinion it would be cool to help out whenever you had the time and not only at events (and not involving prizes and competition, which many of these events do prefer).
