What do you mean Trenton has no super markets?

SF to San Jose is about 50 - more comparable to New York to New Brunswick or Trenton or Stamford.

You can drive from Philly to Trenton or a similar station (takes ~30 minutes from NE Philly), then spend ~1 hr on NJ Transit.

I had a class with Trenton Merricks and I remember him bringing this up.

Yet, in New Jersey, Joyce Kilmer middle school in Trenton, has continually fielded one of the top teams.

Those small grocery stores aren't the same as a supermarket, and the supermarkets listed aren't really in Trenton.

Nobody who visit Trenton or New Haven comes back home and says "I went to New York".

Trenton, on the other hand, can be gotten to in under an hour and for $40.

Trenton's last supermarket closed back awhile ago and it's an obstruction to food access often-mentioned by non-profits in the area.

It still is in Trenton, Georgia (whose city flag is the former Georgia Confederate flag).

It would be like buses picking up workers from their residences in Manhattan and transporting them to their office in Trenton, NJ.

Basically you have to get a 1.5 year education degree to "qualify" to teach a subject; yes, you can have a PhD in math from Princeton and be unqualified to teach 9th grade math in Trenton.
