Tandy Leather took a brief detour through consumer electronics, purchasing Radio Shack and selling the Tandy computer, before eventually going back to leather.

For me it was a Tandy Color Computer, and then a Columbia 8088 luggable, and finally a 80286.

Looking at that KQ2 screencap brought back found memories of playing it on my Tandy 1000SX.

The Tandy 100 was the one that was really popular-- especially with reporters who would type out stories during press releases.

On a similar note, I'd love a modern version of the Tandy Model 100.

I'd completely forgotten about the game until you mentioned "serfs", but I spent a good chunk of 1995-96 playing it on a (barely capable) Tandy 1000 RL in my basement.

By the time the IBM-PC started to become a popular home computing platform, 16-color Tandy/EGA graphics and RGB monitors were the norm.

A variety of personal computers were already on the market when the IBM PC came out, including models from Apple, Tandy, and Commodore.

I think it supported TGA (Tandy Graphics Adapter) so the graphics looked better than standard PC CGA of the time.
