Like the Nam Shub of Enki it’s entered our minds and now reproduces in all sorts of contexts.

While I generally agree with this well written criticism (ChatGPT?), you ignore Snowcrash's most interesting (to me) idea: the Sumerian "Nam Shub" (mind virus) and its intersection with the metaverse, which I found to be an all too plausible prediction.

Pair it with some probabilistic encryption like Blum-Blum-Shub and you can party like a late 90s cypherpunk.

The nice thing about Blum-Blum-Shub or Blum-Micali is that they come with a proof of security.
