The only thing worse than 10,000 wolves running through the Rockies is 10,000 starving wolves running through the Rockies.

And the winter weather east of the Rockies is horrible.

About 5 years ago, visiting some friends in Colorado living somewhere high up in the rockies the talk turned to terrorism.

There has been a gradual decrease in snowfall over the Rockies and, I think, the Cascades region.

I'm just wondering if there are places like in the Rockies where this idea would be viable.

It would have been interesting to see that heat map extend into Canada to see if the trend along the Rockies continued as expected.

Sure, it isn't the Canadian Rockies, but it is nothing like a bad day in San Bernadino or Bakersfield.

But then you get to places like the whole US east of the Rockies, and there's none of that.

It's on the very edge of the foothills as the plains start turning into the Rockies.
