It's not that we lack the capability, it's that soccer moms don't want to see that shit on CNN.

Do the vast majority on moms at google stay or leave?

I think many people (particularly those who have not done any research, moms, grandparents, etc.) associate the Beats brand recognition with perceived quality.

At one point we went as far as to quiz our moms.

If 99.9% of moms before the change stayed then a 50% change in the 0.1% who left is not too informative, but if 80% previously left then it is very significant.

This is mostly going to be you walking your kids around with other parents in the early days, but other moms and dads with the same tired expressions, strollers and diaper bags are a good reminder that you aren't alone!

I have a one year old and a two year old, and I would consider going on vacation to a place similar to that - A dedicated and safe play space, lots of built in support from other moms, and food provided.

Those who claim cleaning is not a "skilled job" should get off their keyboard, spend a day cleaning their moms house, and get back to me when they learn they are 3X slower than a pro and destroyed something with bleach-based spray.

In relation to the moms, I am reminded of Nordic prisons: enforce something approaching a normal life, including basic luxuries and general responsibilities (actual things-to-think-about-and-manage responsibilities, not just "do X repetitive task for six hours"), and recidivism rates go down.

"When Google increased paid maternity leave from 12 weeks to 18 weeks, the number of new moms who quit Google dropped by 50%." This seems to be such a spectacularly good result that I wonder why they haven't tried it sooner.

Moms with strollers often fall into the same category, but it's a social minefield raising the issue in public.
