Not a lot of extra value for abrasion-resistant nylon and extra pockets/loops/molle for someone who barely even goes outdoors.

Prolific hook&loop, molle webbing, and strong materials are, frankly, just utilitarian quality that is missing from throwaway gear you find in most stores.

The new velcro molle systems are great too.

I'm not a climber but I love the Omega Pacific D non-locking carabiner, it's size and shape makes it fit through molle webbing on Goruck backpacks nicely so it sits flush and is a convenient place to attach random things as needed.

I tossed the map insert in the middle, the drawstrings inside, and the Molle attachment loops in the back, and it has served as a really fantastic organizer for pens, mechanical pencils, knives, erasers, Macbook dongles, precision screwdrivers, spudgers, and so on.

They make "slick" versions of their bags without the molle strips, but the 1000D or 500D fabric is overkill for most.
