Not a problem at all, they have a midge budget to fix it with their chitin.

The mosquito with its high pitched whine (so far for me) is rare, whereas the silent midge is hard to avoid in the summer/autumn.

Once, while kilted one evening in Skye, I ended up with literally hundreds of midge bites all over my legs.

But noseeums (biting midge or sand fly in Australia) are possibly worse.

I believe those are Midge flies, not mosquitoes.
