Yep Lapis is a work of art, just like the rest of leafo's work [1].

I've really enjoyed poking at OpenResty and I found Lapis to be the most mature framework working with it.

Their Lapis Lazuli mosaics have stood the test of time, and we can see these artifacts 5000 years later.

The original paint made from Lapis Lazuli is only 2x-3x more expensive.

We used Python and the Pocoo stack (Flask...) and there is nothing so advanced in Lua (yet?), although frameworks like Lapis have to be considered.

Otherwise, Lapis does look like the right tool for the job and I liked many of the other decisions made over it.

Malachite, lapis, lead, mercury, arsenic, and copper were all traditional pigments.

I've been lightly following this for a while now (and it looks really good) but sadly so far I see hardly any benefit in using Lua without openresty for web development (I have two fun projects using Lapis and some more boring stuff in production in pure openresty+Lua, without any external libs).

I have the translatio in linguam Latinam “Harrius Potter et Philosophi Lapis”, done by Peter Needham.

And then you can use those modules using "require" much like in node js (though it is slightly different) Also there is lapis[1] and sailor[2] if you are looking for something more organized.

Lapis and OpenResty (?) are actually used to power the online indie game store run and built by leafo [2].

Lapis is great, Lua is super simple to work with and a total pleasure as well, but it just doesn't seem to be gaining much traction.

I've had great results using OpenResty in combination with the Lapis[0] framework.
