I just tried this example, since anaconda-mode + company (which uses jedi) has been really good for me, it doesn't show variable1 for me.

Basically it was a double jedi mind trick.

I tried with Atom and (jedi) plugin, get this `CharField([Ctrl+Space]`, it fills me with `CharField( * args, * * kwargs)`, sigh.

Not OP, but I use emacs + jedi[1] for Python development.
