I'm aware, but I'd argue that in addition to the competitive moats described by Hamilton Helmer (7 powers guy) there is a real moat in unique technological expertise in the chip industry.

Hamilton Helmer describes a moat as "persistent differential returns." Or in other words, it's something that lets you keep making more money than your competition.

Helmer defines "Power" as the ability to retain meaningful profit margins for a meaningful period of time.

Those are physical moats, way beyond a conceptual "brand moat" (without being able to see how Hamilton Wright Helmer's book characterizes those).
