I guess I'm just getting old -- the gish gallop isn't new, but this form feels more terrible and insidious.

When I saw Gish for the first time, I thought the same but I bet they fake a lot of physics.

And am indicating that Gish galloping, factual and logical errors, argumentum ad nauseum, and similar tactics, are all being indicated but won't be specifically addressed, simply because that serves no use.

I have noticed a couple of posters in this thread posting a gish-gallop of links (mostly from discredited sources) purporting to prove something, but one sees upon inspection that they in fact do nothing of the sort.

It's Gish Gallop done on the Internet scale with a never-ending parade of tech influencers, proxy "journalists" and low-value accounts.
