My team has been using Freshdesk for about a year and it is killer.

We approached freshdesk support also, then left us since they are depending on Google.

As a happy Freshdesk customer I pretty much agree with everything written in this post, and think they'll be just fine.

Using Freshdesk (love it!) to answer 1-2 emails per day.

In addition to what linux_devil has mentioned, on the enterprise side there is Plivo, HackerRank, FreshDesk, Helpshift, Druva, RecruiterBox, Webengage, VisualWebsiteOptimizer etc.

Look at the controversy in this thread: some people think it's bad, some think it's good, but the number of people with Freshdesk on the brain has jumped by an order of magnitude—if half of them are turned off it's still a net win.

By default, your user creates an account to view tickets and communicate, but it is also highly customizable- we've changed all the settings so the users experience is entirely via email (so they never have to create a Freshdesk account) but they get automatic replies to let them know that we've received their email and a ticket has been created.

However I would like to know how possible is it to "tweak" Freshdesk to meet our needs.

They might have grown out of the early days of startup grind and culture but it has continuously given inspiring environments for future founders like girish from Freshdesk.

Anyone know how these guys compare to Freshdesk?
