Some even eat the comical pests, which are said to taste best marinated with celeriac and onions.

It's one thing to make beef stew with carrots and potatoes but my recipe uses parsnips, celeriac, turnips, and potatoes.

I use celeriac, cauliflower, and parsnips regularly as a potato substitute, and it's pretty costly to do so.

I also tend to sub some celery root for potato too (used parsnips because the celeriac was anemic and way too much).

I'd rather have celeriac, carrots, beets, turnips, potato, etc...

I have no qualms with things that are supposed to emulate a different texture, I just don't understand why my vegan delivery place gives me 'vegetable cutlets' instead of saying "fried celeriac"

Celeriac is like a root vegetable except it has a bulbous hypocotyl with many small roots attached.
