When powering off, Schiit's Asgard amp can output enough DC to damage some headphones.

I bake ami using both packer and ansible and then do blue/green deployments using asgard from netflix.

Disclaimer: I have a Schiit Bifrost Uber USB and Schiit Asgard 2 on my desk.

I have been doing continuous deployments baking ami's with asgard for a couple of years now and have had great results.

I'll go too: I've been building a Hubot script for interfacing with Asgard from NetflixOSS.

The Asgard never actually permanently damaged or destroyed any headphones.

The biggest complaint I have about Asgard as a tool, is it feels like more than most organizations need; because it is.

I replaced it with an Asgard 2 and have been satisfied ever since.

Sounds like an institution the Asgard would have named.

An internal tool like Asgard doesn't have the same need a customer-facing tool like the AWS Console does to be user-friendly, either.

Did you upgrade straight to the Bifrost/Asgard or did you have something like the Vali/Modi before or?

As for Gimlé, there's no reason why it can't be rolled into a more comprehensive article on Asgard, Norse Mythology, or whatever.

I went to the Bifront/Asgard setup directly without prior Schiit experience (though I did have Sennheiser experience).
