The result is the musical equivalent of watching windshield wipers that are slightly out of sync.

I do often turn on the windscreen wipers, when I mean to use the indicator, regardless of which country I'm in.

But turning on the wipers when you wanted to signal a turn always takes some getting used to.

Driving jeeps in the Congo, or having dust blown up from dunes in a sudden gust, will require wipers.

Finally, if the dust of Mars was charged at all, the wipers would have just rubbed the dust around on the panel, so they could have ended up with functional wipers that did no good.

It's a bit more complex than checking tires or windshield wipers for wear.

It should not be physically possible to turn on the wipers from the embedded processor that receives packets on the IP address of the car.

Putting "Windshield Wipers" on the probes to another planet isn't exactly like going down to Auto Zone and picking up a few strips of black silicone.
