Calexda's Boston Viridis has died, so that is one less competitor in this niche.

Very cool indeed - though the Boston Viridis might be an easier way to get lots of ARM nodes in a rack.

Particularly in the last two (red-blind and grayscale), it seems like viridis looks the same for large parts of the scale, while magma retains its distinction.

Depending on what exactly your figures were/are, you might benefit from the viridis colour map, available in matplotlib and R (and probably in many other places).

I think the Boston Viridis falls into the "commercial blade server" category and as suggested in the conclusion is how it should be done if you were not using existing dev boards.

Dell, SeaMicro, Viridis, and Moonshot combined have almost no microserver case studies after 1-2 years.

That clock-rate difference is probably dwarfed both by Viridis's 50% nodes-per-rack advantage and Copper's 2x memory-per-node advantage, so the quibble just wasn't worth it.
