The title is slightly incorrect, California is not forcing all children to get vaccinated pre-kindergarten.

What they are doing is making a precondition of entering a public school, that your child be vaccinated.

If people are vaccinated, diseases do not kill that much (because they do not reach the weak ones).

No one is against you vaccinating your kids and living in a town where only vaccinated people are allowed.

Probably thousands (millions?), in times past mostly, because that is when the mass population was not vaccinated.

How many peoole have died in this country as a result of someone else not being vaccinated?

All three of the deaths were amongst the unvaccinated (with 7 others who were vaccinated surviving).

Get vaccinated for it if you hike/cycle/camp/whatever and your area have even slightest chance of it.

The risk of getting vaccines (as directed) is much less than getting the diseases vaccinated against.

One other point, is while a local population might be vaccinated, you don't know who is coming in and out, i.e.

[1] Rabies still kills tens of thousands of people a year in Asia and Africa, in places where "get vaccinated" is not the standard response to getting bitten by a wild animal (the major vector of Rabies there is feral dogs); by the time symptoms appear it's too late.
