For what it's worth, Bell, Telus and SaskTel (possibly more) have publicized their GSM networks for a while, Bell and Telus just have theirs completed early, in certain markets.

Fortunately some carriers are migrating to IMS and provide softclients for computers, tablets and smart phones (Rogers One Number, and Telus Extend).

Can MS ever offer HealthVault to Canada or will we have to hope that Telus will?

Bell, Videotron, Rogers rents access over the Telus Network in most cases.

So personally, I'd switch to Teksavvy instead, and I will if I ever have any problems with Telus (but so far I haven't).

We were talking initially about US ISP's, then you mentioned North America so I figured I'd throw in my experiences with Telus and Rogers.

It appears (from the outside) that MS sold the "rights" to HealthVault to Telus, whom did absolute nothing with it.

Look for the "flex-rate" plans that Rogers/Telus/etc offer.

Makes it near impossible to connect easily back to a Canadian carrier like Rogers or Telus.

However, when discussing the company in non-marketing environments, such as Wikipedia, it's called Telus.

Agreed the competition is bad, there are more carriers in ontario, however they're either the big three, or a second brand name for one of the big three (Bell, Rogers and Telus).
