This system will automate the manufacturing process and collect device telemetry throughout the lifecycle of a product.

This headline "Telemetry Data on All Satellites Orbiting Earth" is a little misleading -- they are orbital elements.

The most troubling part is "Telemetry", which only Enterprise edition clients can disable completely.

All telemetry, key and audio capturing and auto-cloud-upload, peer-to-peer-updates, forced updates,...these new "features"/annoyances aren't well received.

Hopefully they learned from the NSA documents and are encrypting the "telemetry" they're sending back now -- though that will just make it that much harder to determine exactly what that "telemetry" contains.

Telemetry is the same diagnostics that OS X and even Linux Mint and other distributions do.

Telemetry and Ads in the Startmenu can't be disabled, unless running the Enterprise Version!
