Imagine if 37signals kept the number of designers in each price bracket it represented on Sortfolio to only 20 or so.

Instead Sortfolio lives, 37s got their money, but the whole thing feels icky.

Current sortfolio customers got told clearly, 37s doesn't care about their business.

When a unique scenario like Sortfolio gets posted, we like to watch how it unfolds and learn from the process.

Also, there are many places to find designers: behance, sortfolio,dribble, and twitter are a few great places to start.

I'm happy for the Sortfolio customers who see value in the service continuing.

Sortfolio being the perfect example of an app that generated hundreds of thousands dollars/year, and took way less than one person to run.

Sortfolio has established itself as a market leader with a solid revenue model.

Compare this to 37signal's Sortfolio, which sold for $480,000 a few weeks back.
