Mike Rowe (who has agendas of his own I am sure), has commented on this discrimination/vilification of the trades many times in the past.

I encourage anyone interested to read the linked article, which is as true today as when Rowe testified before the US senate 8 years ago.

The links are interesting, especially the times article an the article on Yankee Rowe but it still compares the cost of fossil fuels in the late 60's with nuclear.

I'd check out both stuff that Mike Rowe has written/talked about.

And if the C round is led by firms that primarily invest in public markets ( T Rowe Price, Wellington, Fidelity etc) then the private company is hoping those firms anchor the next round - an IPO at at least the same or higher valuation.

For this reason Rowe calls GDP a "statistical laundry operation that hides the suffering at the bottom".

Rowe Price mutual funds that you sometimes see mentioned in late-stage deals.

But- the investors in these "private investors" such as Hedge Funds, PE funds or even late stage mutual funds (Rowe Price / Fidelity...) are LPs such as pension funds.

Rowe Price to be an interesting one as they are a name that I've never come across in the VC world.

It's basically the job of Tim Rowe, Abby Fichtner, etc.

It's not link-baity in the sense that there's really anything wrong with using your own name for your blog (although try telling that to Mike Rowe ), but it's link-baity in the context of HN where the domain shows up with equal importance to the headline and where the name "Wozniak" is very clearly associated with one and only one person.
