Hybrid worlds - think Proton / Phaze in Piers Anthony’s Split Infinity series, or his Incarnations of Immortality.

Lots of problems that have an optimal complex solution can be solved with way simpler constructs in the prototyping phaze.

I like it but I felt slightly cheated that 'phaze' moved me to the next corner, not the next branch.

Regarding society: I believe we are discussing a normal destructive phaze of innovation cycle.

We're slowly getting over speculation & wild-west phaze and moving to the next phase, and discovering many new uses along the way, which I've listed in my parent post.

And then everything changes with the next big crypto-3.0 thing in 2015 but that don't need to phaze us as long as we cash out beforehand;D Hey, come to think of it...

I.e, instead of life experiences consisting of three parts - toddler, school, work for 50 years, one gets to add a fourth component and another identity building phaze between school and work.

Dump that all to a collective "third rail" and all manner of electrical havoc will begin as out-of-phaze motors start driving each other to do the wrong thing.

Unless you consider successful communication an "execution" phaze.

Not sure if Zack Glander is still running Vapor Phaze, but back in 2011 his startup was one of the only private companies I knew of developing hardware to use this cooling tech at scale.
