In Persepolis Rising, the forces that surround the Tempest form a bubble almost three light seconds across.

Later, after defeating Darius III, he sacked and burned the Persian capital city of Persepolis in 330 BCE, as a symbol of revenge against the Persians.

I'm thinking of Persepolis as an example.

However, as the show hasn't been greenlit for further adaptations, I have been debating if I should just follow through with Persepolis Rising and the remaining books or start from scratch including all the novellas.

After reading "Persepolis Rising" and getting a heavy dose of what propaganda and pacifying messaging from authorities, this reads like it's from that book.

It reminds me of the great animated film "Persepolis".

I'm currently reading "Persepolis," the graphic novel by Marjane Satrapi, and MIT Press' "A History of Modern Computing." I recently acquired a copy of Steven Levy's "Hackers," which I'd like to at least start before the end of the summer.

That reminds me of a scene from that animation movie about Iran (Persepolis).

That specific dynasty maintained meticulous records in Persepolis.
