It's possible for that to happen, as Osteopathy came from similar origins as Chiropractic, but not very common these days.

Along with the likes of osteopathy, homeopathy is one of the forgotten forms of medicine.

Also, from what I'm aware, osteopathy is not actually real medical science, it's an alternative view/philosophy of healthcare.

The nice thing about Osteopathy is that it's very gentle so it shouldn't be as dangerous as more aggressive or invasive treatments.

Osteopathy in the Uk is a real medical science with a four-year full-time course and in the US the study results in Osteopaths being Doctors.

Osteopathy is pretty clearly in the alternative healthcare camp.
