In the Ten Commandment movie Nefertiti plays a different actual Egyptian game called Hounds and Jackals.

This same person fought for years to get the Berlin Egyptian museum to release 3D scans of the famous Nefertiti bust.

I think it was true, on some level, at the time the bust of Nefertiti was taken in the 1920s.

Washington can be described in the same terms Nefertiti and the reverse.

I have seen suggestions that the early Hebrew kings are re-branded pharaohs: Akhenaten and Nefertiti as (sequence-displaced) mono-theistic Adam and Eve, Solomon's gold as southern Egyptian tribute, Song of Solomon cribbed from an Egyptian prayer, maybe even a pyramid as Ararat.

Regarding the Bust of Nefertiti, I guess it's debatable whether 100 years ago qualifies as "quite recently," but I suppose it does seem like yesterday when one is thinking about ancient Egypt!

Bonus: Herodotus's description of Helen of Troy spending the whole time in Egypt has two datable markers to the 18th dynasty, which is when Nefertiti, "beautiful woman who arrived" is around during a complete change to Egyptian art and religion while she's the only woman in history to be depicted in the smiting pose, with her only noted relatives being a sister and wetnurse.

Nefertiti is one example of beauty that was shaped by evolutionary pressures for a very specific region and civilization.

And some works were removed contrary to law quite recently like the head of Nefertiti.

I remember, there was one kooky old 19th century book, where Moses was actually Nefertiti.
