Cecil Rhodes was held in high estimation from the Ndebele people to the point of receiving a king-like burial ritual from them, but he still thought that british were god's gift to mankind.

I have spoken to it in Zulu as I am able to speak in it {{and my dad gave me a dictionary so I can test its vocabulary and use of it}}, it can have a simple back and forth conversation but It doesn't do well with Zulu or Ndebele speakers {{got my mom who is very fluent to try it out}}.

From a practical perspective - the nearest Uni was St Petersburg - if you had to guess how many comparative grammers of say Russian/Ndebele Russian/Cherokee Russian/Urdu were available in late 19th C Biyalostok?
