Ubisoft dropped Michael Ironside from the Splinter Cell franchise, so I'm pretty sure NSA has no tough guys left now.

This is very interesting, but not what the Ironside TPU is doing.

Having watched a bunch of Ironside reruns lately I hoped this is what I thought it was and wasn’t disappointed.

Michael Ironside always kills it in this type of character as well, be it in Starship Trooper, Total Recall, or V (also Nazis in space).

The very fact that the FBI were active participants in An0m / Operation Trojan Shield / Operation Ironside taints any investigations for years going forward.

The funniest use of Ironside theme (Kill Bill excerpt), I've seen, was a video on YouTube about Han Solo when Leia tells him that Luke is her brother (in ROJ) and he has this crazy realization when they kiss in Empire.

And since the US only spends more on its military than the next 8 countries combined, the US needs to boost military spending to implement Trump's pledge of rebuilding the military to its former glory by buying more horses and ironside frigates, instead of spending it on things like health care.

FTA: "She pointed to Operation Ironside, the huge ANoM bust earlier this year that resulted in the arrests of more than 290 people, as a reason for the need for the new powers." So a successful police operation NOW is evidence that more powers are necessary?

Also both movies have Michael Ironside, which is always a plus.

I guess we should be happy/lucky there was still enough left for Old Ironside.

It's goofy and funny on the meta-level, because, well, it's Michael Ironside, and he's saying things that at first pass sound insane.
