The Hussite War Wagons had great success against knights, but it was in the era of early firearms.

It started Thirty Year War and Hussite Wars.

It clearly is a Western Slavonic language relexified into Romance - the orthography has the characteristic Slavic 1 symbol/1 sound and is distinctly Hussite (ie accents on a short Latin).

The very first popular printed literature were books on witchcraft and on Jew/Moor/Huguenot/Hussite burning.

Prior to re-Catholicization of the 17th century, there was a strong presence of homebrewn Hussite/Brethren Protestantism (mostly Czech-speaking people) and somewhat smaller presence of classical Lutheranism/Calvinism (mostly German-speaking people).
