Yeah, I got a really weird feeling in the video of Graeme Devine from the bottom of the article.

Right at the beginning of my obsession with cycling, I read about this record and it's most fascinating challenger: Graeme Obree.

As a first line, I'd like to echo graeme.

After Bradman, the second highest average in history [2] belongs to South African Graeme Pollock, with 60.97, and the third highest to West Indian George Headley, with 60.83.

When Graeme Rocher took it over, he put in a MOP so it could be used with Grails, and later a DSL syntax for Gradle and a static compilation mode because it was there.

My motivations are similar to graeme -- a burning desire to not work for someone else, and a driving need to accomplish certain things in the course of my life which no one else is doing.

The project managers who took over from him, Graeme Rocher and Guillaume Laforge, changed direction by stopping work on the spec and refocusing the Groovy reference implementation to be the scripting language behind Grails.

I'm guessing though, based on Graeme Rocher's comments a week ago [1], that he'll roll Groovy into Grails to make a single project, and get funding for both as a rump team under one project management, himself.

And from the video linked in the Gizmodo article, Graeme Devine claims they don't call it AR because "that is just a 2D HUD", and that's why they insist on the weird marketing phrase "Cinematic Reality".

Graeme merely asserts that his book was free of those, which we knew going in.

Graeme Rocher had a meta-object protocol added to Groovy so he could bundle it as the scripting language of Grails (used just like Ruby is in Rails).
