Even back in the DotBomb days, there was a reason why people were commuting from the Fresno area.

A much more interesting idea would be to build a Hyper loop between Fresno and San Luis Obispo.

They have been doing some good stuff there and have started to turn Fresno in a hub for tech for the SJV.

For instance, in Kansas and Missouri, 83(b) elections are sent to the Fresno office.

You don't compare the relative scale of a glass of water and all the almonds in Fresno County because the water isn't fungible.

And somehow it is not that expensive to live in Fresno or Sacramento.

For anyone who is wondering, FAT stands for Fresno Air Terminal.

There are a few people changing that in Fresno though.

If you work four jobs like that you might be able to live in Fresno and commute on the back of a pick up truck to San Jose.

My point is that if it were not for the tech boom, SF would be finance and tourism and that economically speaking, the city would be as depressed as Fresno is without the capital provided by tech.

Last, lest anyone think that the next Silicon Valley is on the King River east of Fresno, I think that cluster of 8 is centered in the location "California".

Fresno pays one-third of what San Francisco pays, even though both of them are in California.
