Cows aren't going extinct anytime soon, why can't the same market force apply to elephants and rhinos?

At the current rate of poaching, elephants will be extinct in the next 10-15 years.

What this would do is make the market for ivory even bigger and there wouldn't be anything preventing poachers from hunting wild elephants to extinction.

I don't see the rush of elephants to fork it, or write a replacement either, just a bunch of passive complaining.

Probably because cows are domesticated and rhinos and elephants aren't.

It's like trying not to think about pink elephants.
