Workplace, a documentary project about the future of the office, was commissioned for the 2016 Venice Biennale of Architecture.

Would you come for the Biennale specifically?

I was at the Venice Biennale but I missed this!

Basically a visitor of Venetian Biennale left a pack of biscuits in an empty space, took a couple of pictures and suddenly people started queuing at it, trying to find it in the catalogue and taking pictures too.

The title is a phrase of English invention that has long been mistakenly cited as an ancient Chinese curse that invokes periods of uncertainty, crisis and turmoil; "interesting times", exactly as the ones we live in today.’ Not withstanding the discussion what the origin of this years phrase is, I can highly recommend La Biennale Arte di Venice as a bi-yearly reflection on the zeitgeist.

I saw this bridge in person ~2 years ago in Venice, during the 2021 architecture Biennale.
