Seattle proposed to split the cost with Bellevue and Bellevue declined.

This development will be located somewhat near the newly-accredited Bellevue College, which only recently gained 4-year degree approval.

If Bellevue had wanted to keep that route, it could have done exactly what Seattle did: pay for the route.

But man, living in Bellevue feels a bit depressing.

There used to be a bus route that went from Seattle to Bellevue at 2:15 and 3:30 am, but it got shut down as part of recent budget cuts.

I was cruising around an outdoor mall in Bellevue WA.

Bothell is basically equidistant from Seattle, Everett, and Bellevue (I was living in Snohomish County, so closer to Lynwood and Everett), basically under all those cities's influences.

(Buses from there run as far as Tacoma, Everett, Bellevue and beyond, somewhat obviating the need for a car.) Further, there are at least 4 on-street parking systems - the Zone system applies on certain sides of certain streets and allows metered parking and free parking for neighborhood residents with a parking pass.

We are clearly "north" of the lake, and more apart of Everett than say Bellevue.

I went to Bellevue Community College in 1992, right after high school, and was fortunate enough to take part in their nascent "Multimedia Design" program.

Edit: Further muddying the waters, I kind of lump the Eastside into one "city" from a geographical perspective, though legally it's Bothell, Kenmore, Redmond, Bellevue, etc.

If you go along the eastern side of the lake, you are basically in Kirkland which abuts Bellevue.

There is already planning into extending the LLR to the Eastside to Redmond/Bellevue areas.

I'm gonna put my vote in for Bellevue, WA to be the next place to start a tech business.
