There is also Micropreneur Academy micropreneur.com that you could consider signing up for.

You may want to try the micropreneur route championed by Patrick McKenzie, Rob Walling, and Amy Hoy.

In my circles (MicroConf, Micropreneur Academy, etc) it's virtually nothing except single founder companies.

Rob has the micropreneur academy which might be a nice way to meet up with like minded people to bounce ideas off of/get advice.

There is the micropreneur academy but it is a subscription product.

From the point of view of a micropreneur or small business not trying to win the entire market or go bust trying, it might be taking a massive business risk on something with far less predictable return than ramping up existing marketing spend.

Then maybe you would prefer something like micropreneur where the mantra is "start small stay small".

These kinds of companies encourage the "micropreneur" - the micro-sized entrepreneur.

Rob's book and the Micropreneur Academy is exactly what I was thinking of when I mentioned "hand waving" I've read the book twice, and subscribed for several months.

What Spicer calls a "Main Street Entrepreneur" is what I like to call a "micropreneur": The spirit, freedom of how/when/where but bootstrapped, without VCs involved.
