I wonder if FB has an option to set the default to either rank/unranked.

JEE rankings are public knowledge, in the sense that unranked == failure.

Although they dont do this if you play unranked matchmaking the makeup of your deck is used in finding you a good match.

Now the new bottom decile of skill would be having a terrible experience in unranked, so they would leave, etc.
