Google had a triumvirate structure for quite some time, though with one "official" CEO.

In reflection, it seems like they're going towards a triumvirate similar to Google. Larry wants to be Eric Schmidt, but can't be if he's got the CEO title.

Excellent point - if Page had a certain amount of power when a triumvirate ruled Google, what has really changed now that he is the sole CEO? Does he suddenly have immense influence now where he had none before?

At least 3 of them are better kits than the unholy triumvirate of html, js and css. As a developer in the Microsoft ecosystem - I have lost nothing and only gained new choices at each turn of events.

If I remember correctly, that was around when they released blackberry storm and had a real shot at being a triumvirate along with iOS and Android.

I got the impression that Schmidt was the most privacy-concerned guy in the Google management triumvirate, reading Steven Levy's Google book. So his thoughts might not be an accurate reflection on how the company will react.

The old triumvirate tried to blackmail public opinion saying Free will force massive layoffs. But we don't need, useless branded programs, layers of hotliners, or incompetent salesmen in the first place.

The HTC/Samsung/LG triumvirate clearly focuses on a market saturation instead of flagship products. Frankly, I'm a bit shocked that none of the other manufacturers have tried shifting focus to less, but much better handsets.

The company I had experience with was run as a triumvirate with one slightly more powerful member. All three knew everything that was going on and had a hand in it, but two of them were experts in different areas and one was a generalist and overall vision-setter.

I admit that I may live in a bubble, but if Azure is going to win, and I have heard almost nothing about it that gives it the edge over the Heroku/AWS/GAE triumvirate, I would certainly like to know.

Larry took over as CEO. This isn't intended as a judgment of his management, but when the company goes from being run by the triumvirate of Larry/Sergey/Eric to just Larry, the culture will necessarily change, and I think you've seen echoes of that both in their external actions and in things ex-Googlers say. As for the wage suppression agreement - I'm not exactly happy with that, but when I read the Apple/Google e-mails uncovered by discovery, I see a stunning example of realpolitik.

Google overlooks this market positioning strategy at its peril; loyalty is a two-way street, and the firm should know this very well given its historical disruption of the Yahoo/Altavista/Lycos triumvirate that dominated search back in ~1998.

I can’t remember when any of the Google triumvirate justified anything, ads or docs with their mission statement. Even negative decisions: Facebook justified not making cellphone hardware with their statement, because an OS would be more sensical -- a convoluted distinction to most, and one they might as well regret and tip-toe around when they start building antennas in Africa, but… no one would fail to see on that is directly in line with Zuckerberg’s initial idealism of “ending the conflict between Isreal and Palestinians by making them shares their stories”.
