People love to think they know some obscure wrinkle, some cool loophole, some nifty curio about the law. But so many of the stories you hear are just stories.

Code is expensive to maintain and if it doesn't carry its weight it gets cut, even if it's vaguely likeable and nifty.

Csproj files are pretty nifty, no worse than any other makefile replacement. As for Visual Studio, I run it just fine on my Ultrabook!

For example you can get people to change their view of the "legitimacy of an item" by "encourag[ing] influential targets to adopt the item" or create the idea of a "status disadvantage of not adopting" by "Emphasiz[ing] activities of close connections in a social network to influence behavior".
