Anybody who doesn't drive a SUV is an annoying environmentalist in your world?

You don't need to be an enthusiast or an environmentalist or anything like that.

You might seem to be an environmentalist whacko to the conservatives in the audience.

Everybody is an environmentalist, at least when it comes to being a living human.

In fact, any environmentalist worth their weight should be petitioning their own government to help provide grants for China to produce safeguarded nuclear reactors.

You needn't be an environmentalist to be concerned with such numbers.

Maybe this is just my Silicon Valley-centric, rarefied group, but I have genuinely never met a rabid environmentalist hell-bent on shutting down nuclear power.

I think an environmentalist just died a little bit after reading this.

For an extremely passionate environmentalist, the living conditions of generations thousands of years in the future might be viewed as more important than the preferences of the current generation.

None would identify as green or environmentalist.

And some environmentalist don't like it either.

The introduction to the section on climate change in The Skeptical Environmentalist (published in 2001) states "This chapter accepts the reality of man-made global warming" (p259).

That doesn't erase the tremendous damage that "environmentalist" groups have done by spouting FUD about nuclear power for decades, the primary result of which has been to keep us on coal.

(c) "some environmentalist don't like it either" - I really don't see the relevance there.

He titled his book The Skeptical Environmentalist and everyone got the message, without reading the book, that he was a climate-change skeptic -- and for the most part labeled him as an "enemy" and rebuffed him.
