Then the farmer is just a manager exercising 'managerial skills' and his job cannot be sub-contracted, because Tyson only contracts with the manager/owner of the farm, not with someone that the manager/owner chooses to represent them before Tyson.

The only thing I can liken it to was if some fast talking braggart spouting poetry suddenly upset Mike Tyson in his absolute prime.

This is why I'm so thankful for scientists like Neil DeGrasse Tyson and Carl Sagan, who have put themselves very much in the public eye as positive representatives of hard science.

I'd trust somebody like Tyson the same way I trust Wikipedia - if the matter is factual and mostly uncontroversial (like how the steam engine works or what is the value of pi with certain precision and how one could calculate it) I'd have pretty high degree of trust.
