The latest spot with Red Bulls Stratos made me think: where do you want to go from there?

My 4-year-old daughter asks to watch his Red Bull Stratos jump almost every night before bed.

I'll buy redbull over their competitors specifically because of their F1 teams and Felix Baumgartner's Stratos jump.

Imagine jumping out of the Stratos like Felix Baumgartner, from your desk.

I actually wasn't referring to iroh but rather ipfs / the stratos thing that I mentioned.

While I like the idea behind coin and similar systems like the stratos card and would use the technology, usually these systems don't make it past prototypes.

Airtec created a specialized Cypres[1] for the Redbull Stratos project, and Cypres has had other applications in space, so I wouldn't be surprised if that's what was used.

To provide an opposite viewpoint: the only Red Bull 'event' I think of is Red Bull Stratos (and I had to google the name, if that means anything) -- the little cartoons are usually the first thing I think of.

It's a really great idea, I had exactly this problem earlier with reddit (I saw a submission about the redbull stratos jump that had a comment I was interested in, but I couldn't relocate the submission...) and it's happened here before too.

Does anyone here have a competing "magic card", like Stratos/Plastc/Swype?

I would like to see a comparison between this and a Lancia Stratos..

On a side note: If the marketing/publicity budget on this was so much lower, and the design was simpler, how much less do you think this cost compared to FB/Redbull Stratos?

You can get businesses making replicas in small numbers, for example, I am sure you could get a Lancia Stratos, however, would GM have a big copyright ban on such a venture?
