Buddha's birth itself was predicted in all Hindu scriptures (see the 18 puranas) written ages before Gautama Buddha took birth.

My doubt is based on divine scriptures, and there are experiments (as per the article i mentioned) that agree with it.

That has been documented in various scriptures, on stone carvings and even carvings within caves.

There are plenty of families that still practice and live according to scriptures that were in existence thousands of years ago, passed down through generations.

It would seem that even if one reasons from religious scriptures, "Man can defile that which God creates" is a pretty clear theme.

Unfortunately, the quest for the true nature of the universe has been reduced to Scriptures and the yes/no question "Do you believe in God?".
