Proton's DDoS protection hasn't used Radware in years, and even if it did, the technology means the encryption cannot be bypassed.

Interestingly enough, that was a full 6-9 months before Radware wrote an article and coined the term Tsunami SYN.

RADware AppWall is effective, but quirky, and doesn't have a lot of installs Stateside.

Also, we saw these big SYN floods about 3 years ago (before Radware coined the term).

We have switched from Radware for other reasons in 2018.

It's like when they used Radware for _protection_ but I do give them credit for abandoning them after all the public outcry.

The Radware ties, the blocking of two journalists, etc.

You either need some serious infrastructure (cloudflare style) or you need to buy equipment to mitigate attacks (like radware devices) or route it via a DDoS mitigation service (prolexic style).

I’d recommend Radware instead of Arbor personally.

Any of F5, Radware, and other expensive boxes can do this.

Proton has many suppliers (Dell, Juniper, Radware, etc).
